Dr Andrew Leicester’s predominant orthopaedic interest is knee and hip replacement surgery, having performed over 1000 medial pivot knee replacements and over 1000 anterior muscle-sparing approach hip replacements.
He also performs the following:
- Knee sports surgery including ACL reconstruction
- Hand surgery
- Shoulder surgery including rotator cuff repair, instability surgery and shoulder replacement
- Surgery of the foot and ankle
- Trauma surgery
Dr Leicester also specialises in paediatric orthopaedics; much of this work comprising hip dysplasia, talipes and trauma such as fractures in children.
