Dr Adrian Sartoretto is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with a subspecialty interest in Bariatric Endoscopy. He completed his studies at the University of Sydney in 2007 and undertook specialist physician training at Westmead Hospital before completing an Endoscopy Fellowship at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in 2015.

Dr Sartoretto is the Medical Director of The BMI Clinic and in this role has developed significant expertise in bariatric endoscopy, having completed the first Australian Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty in 2016 and has developed one of the largest case series in the world.

Dr Sartoretto is heavily research oriented, acting as Principal Investigator in numerous translational and First in Human studies examining novel devices and endoscopic techniques for the management of obesity and diabetes.

He is known for his expertise in Advanced Colonoscopy & Polyp Resection, Nutritional Gastroenterology, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Liver Disease, and General Gastroenterology & Hepatology. His endoscopy practice focuses on advanced polyp resection, bariatric endoscopy, and capsule endoscopy.
