Dr Ania Smialkowski is a fully qualified Australian Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She first completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Sydney, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Notre Dame in Perth. She returned to Sydney to commence her internship and continued her surgical and specialist training in Sydney. Dr Ania is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons specialising in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. This means that she has trained to the highest standard attainable in Australia.
Dr Ania received her specialist qualifications in plastic and reconstructive surgery awarded by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. After this, she undertook further training in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery and completed the Sydney Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship, focusing on breast and body surgery. She also completed the Breast Reconstruction and Microsurgery Fellowship at Hospital de la Santa Creu i San Pau in Barcelona, Spain, working and learning from world leaders in this field. Dr Ania has also spent extended time in Europe, attending various clinics, conferences, and courses to enhance her knowledge and experience in plastic and cosmetic surgery.
