Profile:
Dr Sarah Lonie is passionate about plastic surgery and meticulously delivering the best possible outcomes for her patients. Her main areas of interest include breast reconstruction, microsurgical reconstruction, skin cancer treatment and sarcoma.
Sarah completed her undergraduate medical degree with honours at the University of Melbourne and plastic surgery training to obtain fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, in Melbourne. She worked at a number of major centres including Royal Melbourne, St Vincent’s and the Alfred Hospitals. Her post-fellowship training led her to Sydney for the ASAPS (Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) endorsed Sydney Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship and to the United Kingdom for the Newcastle Upon Tyne Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship.
Sarah is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS).
