Profile:

Dr Alok Mohorikar is a Otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon with credentials achieved across Australia, India and the United Kingdom. He has been dually trained in ENT through the Sydney based New South Wales training programme of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and University of Mumbai, India with some additional experience in ENT in London, U.K.

Dr Mohorikar has been privileged to have worked across many of Australia’s major hospitals including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Wollongong Hospital and John Hunter Hospital during his training.

Dr Mohorikar has a interests in indigenous ear disease and their other problems associated with indigenous health and has worked extensively in the Northern Territory addressing these medical problems. He has been fortunate to have worked in the discipline of ENT in Darwin, Katherine, Gove and other ‘Top End’ communities and also in the specialty of General Surgery in Alice Springs.

In addition to his extensive education, Dr Mohorikar has engaged in a number of research activities, leading to numerous publications and conference presentations both Australia wide and abroad.
