A/Prof Kalish completed his medical degree with first class honours, followed by surgical and combined surgeon-scientist training. He acquired a Masters of Medicine for molecular research and clinical epidemiology from the University of NSW.
A/Prof Kalish is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney and continues to present at numerous national and international meetings as invited faculty and a keynote speaker. He has published widely in peer reviewed journals and has co-authored textbook chapters.
